Áurea Giacomelli

Visionary breeder. Businesswoman. Pioneer of the XL Bullies from Brazil & Brazilian Bulls in the United States.
With over dozens of Champions and Grand Champions produced worldwide, Áurea’s journey is one of passion, perseverance, and purpose.
From Dogo Argentinos to XL American Bullies, her influence spans continents and generations.
As former president of the Dogo Argentino Council (FCI/CBKC), she elevated Brazilian breeding to an international level.
Now based in Texas, she leads Samba Kennels, home to some of the most elite dogs in the world.
Her work has changed how the world views Brazilian dogs, setting records and inspiring breeders everywhere.
Through DogoJet LLC, she also supports global pet transport and mentorship for breeders worldwide.
Áurea’s philosophy is simple: quality, ethics, and legacy.
Every success is rooted in her faith and love for animals.
Her mission continues : building not just dogs, but a story that will be remembered forever.
